Butterfly Garden: What you need to attract butterflies
A brief video explaining the simple steps that can be taken to create a wonderful butterfly garden of your own! The video states that “you need 3 components for a successful butterfly garden- nectar plants, host plants and a water source.” The video states that “butterflies are attracted to RED and YELLOW flowers. You can choose from plants such as petunias, yarrows and butterfly bush, which are all common nectar plants.” Host plants are for eating, so “don’t be alarmed is there is some damage to the plants and don’t use insecticides on these plants” so that you do not harm the caterpillars. “Water your plants with at least an inch of water every week and cover your plants with 2 inch-thick mulch to allow the soil to stay cool and retain moisture.”

Lets Imagine Butterflies 
So much knowledge, that’s amazing! I love butterflies, but hate caterpillars since they destroy a lot of what I have planted. Two sides of one beautiful thing, and that doesn’t apply only to butterflies.
